1. Overview
Kalebtak (also known as كلبتك) is a personal expense tracker designed to work offline on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
In version 1.0, Kalebtak does not create user accounts, does not require login, and does not upload your financial data to our servers.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the app, the following data may be stored locally on your device:
- Income and expense transactions (amount, category, date, optional note)
- Budgets and category spending progress
- Recurring transaction rules
- App preferences (language, currency, onboarding status)
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or payment card details for the core features of this version.
3. Where data is stored
Your data is stored in on-device storage (including a local SQLite database and app preferences). It stays on your phone or tablet unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
4. Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Kalebtak may show local reminders (for example budget warnings or inactivity reminders). These alerts are generated on your device and are not sent through our servers.
5. Export and sharing
You may export reports (CSV/PDF). Export is started by you. Files are created on your device and shared only through your device’s system share sheet. We do not upload exported files.
6. Permissions
- Notifications — optional, for local alerts
- Vibrate / boot completed — used so scheduled local notifications can work reliably on Android
The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
7. Internet and third parties
Core features work offline. Version 1.0 does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or cloud sync. Opening this privacy policy website in a browser may involve normal web hosting logs (for example IP address and browser type) from the host provider.
8. Children’s privacy
Kalebtak is intended for general audiences managing personal finances. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the app to collect information about children.
9. Data retention and deletion
Data remains on your device until you delete it inside the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the local app data stored by Kalebtak on that device.
10. Security
We rely on your device’s built-in security (screen lock, OS sandboxing). Because data is local, anyone with unlocked access to your device may be able to open the app and see your entries. Protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock.
11. Your choices
- Deny or revoke notification permission in system settings
- Delete individual transactions, budgets, or recurring items in the app
- Uninstall the app to remove local Kalebtak data
12. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how data is handled (for example optional cloud backup), we will update this policy and the effective date. The Play Store listing will link to the latest hosted version.
